ABBA SHOW
FABBA
SYDNEY AUSTRALIA
On April 6th, 1974, a relatively unknown Swedish group won the Eurovision Song Contest with a song titled ‘Waterloo’ ABBA had arrived, and the rest is history.
But by 1982 it was all over. Even though ABBA ceased to record or tour together, their music continued to entertain, to enthrall, to inspire. The countless hits have transcended time to remain as popular today as they were when first released, in some cases more so.
The movies Muriel’s Wedding and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert both featured ABBA’s music and won the group whole new generations of fans. The opening of the musical and the movie versions of MAMMA MIA! have audiences dancing in the aisles, reliving memories… and for some, discovering the ABBA sound for the first time.
FABBA will take you on a musical journey when life was as good as an Abba song and the only way to travel was on the Priscilla Bus… from Eurovision to Mamma Mia to the Abba phenomenon with all the songs, costumes and comedy combined into one FABBA-ulous show!
FABBA was established in 1996 and reformed in 2000 as a live show band. ABBA is considered one of the 3 largest selling recording artists in history and FABBA aim to continue sharing their music.
The group are dedicated in replicating the ABBA sound, however they have also added a modern and theatrical element to the show. FABBA promises to deliver a show that is highly energetic, visually captivating, musically brilliant, audience engaging & always entertaining.
We work together, play together (literally), travel together and over the years have become a family of our own……but most importantly we really like each other.
We are so grateful and appreciative for every gig we do – because we love our job and we love working together.
There is so much fun and laughter both on and off stage with the FABBA team – which is why every show is different and unpredictable…. but with every FABBA show, the music and magic of Abba is reproduced with respect and passion.
