SWAY

SWAY POLE ACTS  are a “Breathtaking Fusion of Art, Height, and Imagination”

SWAY is a Melbourne-based, arts company, that designs and creates, large- scale, performances, and site-specific installations fusing theatre, dance and circus using a unique, combination of sway-pole apparatus and bespoke performance equipment.

Sway pole performers bring a rare kind of wonder to an event—an experience that feels part circus, part sculpture, and part dream. Rising up to six metres above the ground, these artists appear to float effortlessly through the air, bending and gliding with a grace that seems to defy physics. The poles themselves are engineered to flex dramatically, allowing performers to sweep through huge arcs of motion while maintaining complete control. The result is a mesmerising aerial ballet that captivates audiences from the very first moment.

Beyond the visual impact, sway pole acts connect with audiences on an emotional level. There’s something deeply human about watching a performer suspended high above the crowd, swaying with vulnerability and strength in equal measure. The combination of artistry, athleticism, and risk creates a shared sense of awe—one of those rare moments where people instinctively look up, pause, and feel transported. For corporate events, festivals, and special occasions, sway pole performers offer a signature moment that guests will talk about long after the event ends.
